Rob received this award today. He makes me proud :D The medal is very nice and he gets to wear it whenever he wears his dress blues. They engraved his name and rank on the back as well as his medal number. Good Job, Ra ♥ ♥
Rob and I went to a Triple A baseball game tonight. It was also Military Appreciation night and a Little League Team was there as well. It was really cool to see the kids interact with real life "GI JOEs" :D
Traffic + Construction = a looooooong night. We were on our way home from Maryland and what was supposed to be a 3hr drive home ended up being a 6! Harrumph.
Have you ever wondered how to tell if an egg is bad? Place the egg(s) in a pan of cold water and if they sink, they're good! Betcha can't guess what it means when they float!? :/
I got to stop for the train today! It had 50 cars and I waved to the conductor! AND if there hadn't been people behind me, I would have put a coin on the track too!!
In the beginning, it was the little Gatorade. Then, the workouts became more challenging. And, now that we are in the weight room, I have the giant Gatorade! I hope I don't have to be that gym person carrying around a gallon of water next....
Happy Memorial Day! Rob and I (and 4 huge buses of trainees) went up to Arlington National Cemetery then over to D.C. to tour the Capitol.
Arlington was awesome. I didn't feel right taking pictures and it was pretty powerful being there. I did get to see the changing of the guard, but not the wreath laying.
The Capitol tour was a bit disappointing, but very informative. I can't wait to go back with Rob. :)
