Ahh....husbands. So Rob comes home and tells me that, the weight bars he bought on Saturday, he is going to take them back because a couple of weights almost fell on his head and almost killed him. Once I control the giggles, I say "really"? Knowing that I had just torn up the receipt and threw it away. Cut to me, digging in the trash (it was all paper stuff no food germies)to find every little piece and taping it back together again. Man, the people at Dick's are gonna love this story....

I did it! I completed my first 10k! My time was 1:16 which I think is pretty good for a rookie :D
It was a great race with over 37,000 runners! Rob is thinking about running it with me next year.

Rob and I went to a craft show today in Richmond. He was sooo excited. The show had a ton of crafters! We found this little stand with all kinds of critters and I was psyched to find a pharmacy tech! So, I purchased our family and we sit happily on the mantle ♥

Every now and then, my Mom and I would get one for a snack. She had the brilliant idea of saying "Can we have 2 different toys, so the kids don't fight?" And it worked every time! Like I said, brilliant! :D

Today, marks 3 years since my Grandma Faye has passed. I miss her like it just happened yesterday. These pictures are of "The Mee" my well loved blanket. Grandma Faye made her for me when I was about 2. And I have had many adventures with her. The Mee provides comfort and security. I always think of my g'ma when I have her. She was an amazing woman, a caring mother, a wonderful cook, AMAZING. I love you Grandma. ♥♥♥
